Appetizers, Pickles, Relishes
Lemon Tahini dip/spread
(great on a roll, rice cake, vegies, etc.)
1 C. roasted tahini (I think Maranatha brand is sold in health food
stores all over the country & is from Ashland, Or -- my town)
1/2 C. water
3/4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. garlic (chopped)
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
blend all ingredients together either by hand or blender (if by blender
add water first, then small amounts of tahini with the blender running-to
prevent stopping up the blades). Thickens up in fridge. Refrigerate unused
portion.
