Sarah's hospital birth story: My hospital birth......whoa- where do I begin? Let's just say I was 29 weeks when I went into labor, so you can imagine how it was. "intervention ccentral " First off I had planned a candle lit waterbirth at a birthing center. Due to the situation I had to transfer the hospital. When I got there I was greeted by a staff of folks ready to prep me for the butcher's table. They then snatch my baby from my abdomen I saw him for a sec from a small distance and off he went to the NICU where I couldn't see him again till the next day. They had me stay there for like 4 days, but I didn't
mind about staying. Because we were going through a major heat wave that
week. It was very hot outside and nice and cool inside the hospital, but the
main reason for not wanting to leave was that I knew that when I left I
would going home without my baby. Most of the nurses were bitches, but the
techs were much more helpful and caring.
